Spanish was only spoken in my home. But in school, English became my dominant language. What I learned broke a cultural and communication barrier for myself and my parents. As a designer, I strive to expand concepts to be understood by a larger audience. Experiences with language inspire me to focus my work on social good design. This focus fuels my desire to bring people together, and help others see and celebrate their differences through the collective human experience.
