Angela (Yashan) Cheng

My past experiences of dancing, participating in choir, and playing Chinese chess influenced the way I design today. Through dancing, I learned the process of rehearsal, step-by-step that led to the final choreography. Similarly, I enjoy the development stage of design that helps me reach different possibilities. Through choir, I learned the importance of teamwork where everyone is taking a role in the performance. Through chess, I learned patience and strategic thinking. While in the design process, my observations and deep research helped develop my creative solutions. The diverse experiences in my life shaped the unique person I am today: a designer, thinker, and explorer.
