I sit on my couch nose-deep into a book while listening to music. I am gripping the edge, eager to turn the page. Much like reading, design gives me the same thrill. I can be so entranced by a project that I can get nose-deep into my computer. I get excited moving through a project like a book. There is a beginning, a rising action where the conflict arises, and a climax when I finally figure out the best way to approach the project. Ultimately, a resolution where I have completed the project firmly, knowing that I have solved the conflict. Designing follows a story arc with a beginning, middle, and end, so let’s get nose-deep into a project together.
