My name is Astrid Han. I'm an illustrator and designer. Currently based in Pasadena, California. I always believe that my illustration is a lens that helps people to see through my imagination, my passion and my life. I was born and raised in China. Now, even I'm far away from home, I still use my own language to illustrated the culture and place I belong to. Nature is another thing that fascinates me. I take pleasure of being part of it. I draw with vibrant colors and organic shapes. Texture adds more interest and depth to my illustration. There’re also a lot possibilities for my illustration, they could be posters, decorative wall art, and book covers. Besides creating digital illustration, I fell in love with screen printing.This special technique gives my work a more organic touch, which seems to be very harmonious with my subjects.
