I’m Brett Axness. Growing up in a small town outside of Portland, I‘ve always been drawn to engineering, art, comedy, and music, mixing purpose with creativity.

The process of working through a complex problem is what I love about design. 

Learning, experimenting with new ideas, understanding the how’s and why’s, allows me to navigate and uncover unexplored possibilities. Blending psychology and physiology, I consider how the brain and body work together, impacting behavior and interactions. Innovation for me is a mix of collaboration, creativity, functionality and aesthetics, solving problems with a purpose.
