Carl Lai

Hi, Nice to meet you, I am Carl Lai.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, I was a mix of art and mathematics. I started my career in Statistics but discovered Product Design was the perfect blend of creativity and logic. As a designer, I am interested in diving into research, knowing the biomechanics, and identifying problems.  Knowing the pain points allows me to ideate and prove my concepts. Hands-on experiences, from sketching to mock-ups, model-making, and final render, I figure out the perfect proportion and scale. Whether I’m designing sportswear, furniture design, or UI/UX, I want to create more dynamic experiences and products that prevent injuries, solve problems and allow people to connect in a deeper way.
