Casey Knapp

My life is, in many ways, pieced together from different identities. I’m from Montana, growing up in a rural town. I bartended throughout my 20s, building long lasting friendships within the communities I lived and worked in. I’m queer, valuing spaces where I felt safe and creatively enriched. I’m a LA transplant, coming to the city after deciding I wanted to live a more creative life. Piecing together my personal narrative helps me to make sense of the world around me, and it’s helped me better understand art and design within a larger context. It makes me curious and excited to engage with the other narratives I haven’t yet encountered in the world, both professionally and personally.
