Cynthia Qin

Hi, I'm Cynthia Qin. I’m a product designer focusing on human-centric design, both visually and physically. I want to provide a better user experience through people’s interaction and bring the satisfaction to everyday life.

I was born and raised in Shenzhen, China, and currently pursuing my bachelor degree in Product Design at ArtCenter College of Design. Being exposed to different cultures and perspectives, I expanded my vision and creativity as a designer. I am interested in lifestyle products, packaging design as well as UI/UX design, but there is no limitation in my design criteria because my goal is to become a designer that is versatile.

I am a meticulous thinker, which means I tend to think through all the potential perspective to find the blind spots in order to make steady design progress. I care about what people feel and think. This trait leads me to design with empathy. For me, product design is not merely designing an object, but more about bringing people joy and happiness when they are using it, and this leads to their satisfaction.
