I have a precise memory of how storytelling can change one’s perception. In my friend’s garden, there is a grand old tree. As darkness falls, its silhouette looms, creating an ominous shape that seems as if it could swallow me whole. I was scared of it, but then my friend told me it is the guardian of their household. My perspective altered, and I could perceive it more positively. Storytelling taught me to love, to fear, to laugh, and to cry, and all these experiences become part of the stories I tell. I look forward to working with you to design stories that can feel special and unique to everyone.
