Whenever I enter a library, I am drawn into the design of books and interested in delicate and sophisticated typography. I appreciate the tactile nature of print design, from the smell of fresh ink to the crisp feeling of a perfectly bound book. When I learned of an editorial design career, I decided to give up analyzing climate change data in the lab and study graphic design. The data analysis experience allows me to capture information accurately and discover the different stories that are hidden in the details. I am driven by a desire to create innovative, impactful designs that make a difference in people's lives and a voice to those in need.
