Eric Cheyen Wang

An illustrator and designer from Southern California. The subject matter in my works are influenced by philosophy, contemporary culture, and historical research. Memories and experiences from my exploration in life also aid my inspiration. To break through the external world of conventionality by critical thinking and design within image making is what interest me the most. Working with type and wonky illustrations, I am most comfortable using mixed media materials as it allows me to push perspectives and emphasize viewer stimulation in my own way.
