XR Interaction Designer: Bridging Playful Digital Experiences with Queer Empowerment

I'm an Extended Reality (XR) Interaction Designer, passionate about prototyping playful digital experiences. I'm proficient in the user experience design pipeline and familiar with game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. As a lifelong gamer fascinated by fantasies and adventures, and as a queer designer, I'm driven to explore and prototype playful digital experiences in XR, using my personal experiences to advocate for and assist marginalized communities.

I turn XR design visions into interactive prototypes quickly.
I bridge the gap between research and prototyping, demonstrating design vision swiftly and iteratively. Using Unity as my primary tool and embracing rapid prototyping as my core design approach, I leverage hands-on creation to explore optimal solutions. This method not only facilitates testing and refinement but also significantly enhances communication and collaboration within design teams.

I envision and design three-dimensionally.
As a digital experience designer, I frequently engage with a range of 3D tools, with Blender being my primary platform. My proficiency in this software enables me to tackle diverse projects, from digital fashion augmented reality experiences to filmmaking and product image rendering.

I engage in the local LGBTQ+ community, conducting research and designing for justice and accessibility.
My experience working on a grant project with Cedars-Sinai has deepened my engagement with the local LGBTQ+ community, specifically in designing enhanced health resource-sharing experiences. Leveraging my expertise in technology and multimedia design, I've been able to create more inclusive and accessible platforms that not only engage but also empower the community. This work underscores my commitment to using design as a tool for social justice, ensuring that technology serves diverse needs in meaningful and playful ways.
