Jiao Xu (Josie) is a writer and director from the undergrad program. Her passion for the arts started at a young age when she pursued a career as a child actor in mainland China, Taiwan, and South Korea. While at ArtCenter, Jiao continued to hone her acting skills by starring in her own projects and collaborating with fellow students. She is a dedicated feminist who focuses on exploring topics related to female self-consciousness and empowerment through her work. With her insatiable curiosity and love for adventure, Jiao hopes to live a free and fulfilling life while exploring the world with an open mind.
