Johnny Ye

What's up, my name is Johnny Ye. It all started for me with a pair of green Nike basketball shoes. When I put that shoe on, I was 11, and felt so fly and so confident. All of a sudden, I was part of a global sporting culture and experienced the power of brand.

As a Footwear Designer, my focus is on performance. Through the details, the form, the materials, the construction, the technologies, I discover the sweet spot between design and engineering, aesthetics and function. I want my designs to help athletes unleash their full potential, jump higher, run faster, play safer, while looking cool as hell in the process. Whether it's bringing ideation to life or designing a blue sky concept, I want to design footwear that is inclusive, celebrating culture, identity and our love of the game.
