Hello everyone, my name is Joy Cai. As a kid, I was drawn to the world of fine art, the beauty of shape, the creativity of problem solving, the function of craft.
Today as an Industrial Designer my focus is on finding elegant solutions that balance functionality and aesthetics while anticipating real needs of the user. Through the cycle of research and collaboration, I look at how people live, how they think, how they interact with their devices. This deep understanding allows me to ideate, explore, and refine. I want to find the ideal balance of aesthetics and function, crafting products that are both helpful and beautiful.
