Keiji ("KG") Ishida

Hello, I am a Japanese artist based in Los Angeles, CA. 

My artistic passion derives from skateboard and streetwear culture, using text, repeated characters, and motifs that often find their way through various mediums. The process is design-oriented while revealing the imperfections and efforts of the handmade. I have collaborated with a number of commercial brands including HUF Worldwide, Nozbone Boutique, Airwalk Shoes, and Converse– designing apparel, decks, and promotions. My work has been widely exhibited internationally in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris. Solo exhibitions include California Dreaming, Nozbone Boutique, Paris (2022), and Good Bye Keiji, by Keiji, GARAG3 Gallery, Los Angeles (2017). Public projects include murals at the L + O Apartments in North Hollywood, CA, at Netflix offices in Burbank, CA, and at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
