Hello, I'm Linda Ziming Gao.
Growing up in Shenzhen and Palm Springs, I am a blend of eastern and western cultures.
Through music, I found my way to photography, as both mediums can be an escape to and from emotion. I’m obsessed with capturing a moment, illuminating an issue and connecting philosophical and artistic voices.
I value interaction, communication, advocacy and identity. Through portraiture, I am able to tell a story about someone and the life they lead, in a single image. I want my photography to create an emotional bond, to express the deeper connection we have to each other.
