Illustrator & Designer
Maria Dzulfayan is an Armenian-American Los Angeles-based freelance illustrator and designer. Her work is greatly influenced by nature, culture, and social impacts that occur around the world. She utilizes elements such as color, pattern, scale, and typography to tell stories and make an emotional connection between her illustrations and her audience. Her work often features references from her Armenian background as well as discusses the relationship between continuing cultural traditions and living in the diaspora. Her overall goal is to become an art director and produce art that can be integrated in a variety of forms such as prints, advertising, and digital media.
