I’ve been a graphic designer, a beer buyer, a photographer and always interested in learning and asking questions and creating. In college I spent some time changing majors and trying my hand at history, psychology, theology, and film, but design is what really allowed me to take that curiosity and combine it with creation.
Through Interaction Design, I’m able to touch on a variety of problems and areas of work. Before starting to design, I need to see different points of view, break my assumptions, and understand how people think and feel. Those insights allow me to create visual designs and experiences that are accessible and empathetic. As a designer, I believe it’s my responsibility to design solutions that start and end with the user. Good design should be for everyone.
