Growing up Indian in Orange County, I bounced between two worlds. I loved basketball, rap, fashion and didn’t always mesh with what I knew about Indian culture. In an attempt to bridge the gap, I started a clothing brand that celebrated the mix of Vedic artwork and LA streetwear.
As an Interaction Designer, my work continues to embrace and explore dichotomies. I explore the cross section between the social and political, the practical and ethereal, the mainstream and the untapped. Blending spatial, experiential and digital, I want to design opportunities that represent what’s fresh, evocative and real.
