Minggu is a Los Angeles based director and cinematographer.
Raised in Guangzhou, China. After graduating from Guangzhou foreign language school, Minggu went to a French high school in Poitiers, France. He then entered Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne University and has obtained a double bachelor’s degree in film study and management. He completed his master's degree at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, US.
During his time at ArtCenter, he has made his mark in a variety of media, including narrative shorts and documentaries. He has served as director of photography for several short films, including Grey (directed by Matthew Colston), which was selected into semi-finals of the Student Academy Award 2021.
