My design philosophy is "Familiarity should meet unfamiliarity."
I’m an illustrator who lives and is based in New York. I want to be involved in making stories and illustrating for them. I love the odd yet distinct balance of whimsy and melancholy in imagery. My work is inspired by humor, memory, and emotion in order to inform the mixed media I apply to my work.
I intend to work in editorial illustration, sell my own merchandise, and someday teach young learners about art.
