Nori Rasmussen-Martinez

Hey, I'm Nori Rasmussen-Martinez. 

Raised in Santa Rosa in a large Mexican-American family, I was different, very shy, and gravitated towards outlets that didn’t involve much speaking, such as drawing, photography and film. 

Today, as a Photographer, my focus is an introspective one, exploring people, identity, and their stories. Imagery is a conversation about vulnerability, intimacy, humanity and advocacy. It’s an opportunity to see how we live and coexist in an environment that celebrates diversity, juxtapositions and cultural differences. I want my work to empower emotional presence and foster an open, communal experience.
