Sean Jiaxing Guo

Hey, I'm Sean Guo. I was a quiet kid, a dreamer, raised in a family of engineers. I guess that’s why I really want to try another approach, which is a more artistic and abstract way to express my creative side.

I received my first degree in engineering and started working as a prototyper for a design company.  I realized I have a strong sense of self-expression and wanted to express logic in a creative way.

As an interdisciplinary Designer, I see design as a vehicle for thinking and uncovering, discovering concepts that are the balance of creativity and logic.  My desire is to arouse questions, not just solve problems. Blending my background in design and engineering,  I consider complex perspectives in order to see the poetry of objects, the aura of their existence. I want to create experiences that resonate with people, either physically or digitally, connect to their emotions, and reflect a sense of self.
