Hi, I’m Shijie Luan. Surrounded by family in the medical field and psychology, my parents instilled in me the deep value of taking care of others. Impressed by their love and dedication, I followed their lead but wanted to impact people’s lives on a larger scale. Design was my answer and I received a degree in Industrial Design and now, Product Design.
For me, smart design is in the details. I ideate, I strategize, I innovate, discover micro interactions that shape the way people feel about the products they use. The mechanics, the functionality, the surfaces, the color, all have the ability to generate emotion and create connection. Blending technology and aesthetics, I translate solutions that directly impact people’s lives, it’s all about sharing the love.
