Silas Grote

My passion for design originates from a childhood of building and tinkering in the comfort of a small midwestern town. I have always had a curiosity for the way things work and dreamed that someday I’d have the opportunity to influence everyday design in a bigger way. This drive led me to Art Center College of Design where I focused my studies on transportation design.

While attending Art Center, I have developed many transferable design skills including sketching, 3D design, and storytelling. In addition to my academic studies, I have gained hands-on experience developing my skills with professionals in the automotive industry. As I continue my career in design, I hope to fulfill my goal of contributing creative solutions and meaningful designs that inspire.
