Fine Art Multidisciplinary Artist
Stephannie Marcelino (b.1999) is a New York City and Los Angeles based artist working in oil paint, sound and sculpture. Her work focuses on the exploration of identity through degrees of separation from the self, womanhood, culture, immigration, memory, and most recently crafted representation through the use of artificial intelligence art generators. She aims to investigate how one can use crafted representation to better unfold the varying degrees of existence in relation to the body and the multiplicity of identity.
Marcelino hopes to continue her representation of woman of color beyond painting and to one day open a gallery space to amplify WOC voices and work.
