Korean-Immigrant, Native Angeleno, US Army Veteran, 2nd Masters Degree.
Tae is a director & writer who was born in Korea and emigrated to the U.S. He grew up adjacent to ArtCenter in La Crescenta as a proud Angeleno. He joined the U.S. Army through the MAVNI program, and obtain a citizenship and residency for his parents. He deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation: Enduring Freedom.
He is a graduate of the CSUN Cinema & Television program. He worked in non-profits helping local communities. He has worked for the Writers Guild of America - West. Tae worked in production for companies like Burger King, McDonald, Mattel, Nike, Lionsgate, Disney, HBO, Warner Discovery, and more. He got his first Masters degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Mass Communication and Journalism in Arizona State University, graduating with distinctions. He was chosen to study abroad in Barcelona as part of ASU's study abroad program, and later served as a study abroad social media ambassador.
He enjoys traveling, spending time with his dog, watching and talking about movies, playing his many instruments, history, sports, motorcycles, camping, and learning and being engaging in new cultures.
