Yihua Fan is a Los Angeles-based film director. Born and raised in Xi’an, China, a city with rich historical and architectural heritages. Influenced by her artistic parents and her passion for film, she came to the U.S. to study film at a prestigious art college after graduating high school. She is a prolific artist, in addition to collaborating with her classmates on a number of short films, she also took summer jobs as an intern at the Tourism Bureau in China producing short films each week. Her work has received high marks and she was selected to play on the public transportation system. In 2022 she earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in Film from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California. As a young aspiring filmmaker, Yihua’s goals include producing short films with aesthetic appeal and focusing on examining the dilemma the millennials face today.
