Integrating detailed lines and shadows to create poetic scenery with human emotion

I am born in Shenzhen, China, where tradition gradually blends with modernity. Throughout my childhood, I had the opportunity to visit many traditional gardens in Suzhou, China. The gardens have well-designed architectures for practicability, the proper balance between light and shade, and the excellent integration of dynamics and statics for visual appearance. What I have seen taught me that an excellent piece of design should have perfect functionality and be able to meet people’s aesthetic senses and spiritual needs to the furthest extent.
With ten years of Chinese paint learning during my childhood and theoretical studies at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, I gradually developed my modern systemic design philosophy. The idea is about hiding the power of dynamic into the simplicity of the static structure to show the integration between vitality and stillness, with the fulfillment of both aesthetic mentality and practical usage.
