Hello everyone, my name is Yuzhe Zhang, but I go by Cecil.
Raised in Inner Mongolia, I was surrounded by grasslands, deserts and mountain peaks. My grandfather, who is a well-known artist, introduced me to the arts. When I met photography, I fell in love with capturing landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
Photography allows me to think through my lens, finding the blend between fashion, product and fine art. I want to share ideas that spark curiosity and share a piece of my soul. I love working on a series, finding the relationship that connects each image and tells a complete story. I play with mood, color, lighting, subject and composition, finding the bridge to my thoughts and experiences. I want to craft a bond through my imagery. Thank you!
