Empowering Humanity: Sophia Wu, Redefines Wellbeing Through Design
Hi! My name is Sophia Wu. Both a designer and an artist, I am a person who loves to push my limits, both emotionally and physically. As a runner, I would summon the energy to sprint across the finish line, a mix of persistence and explosiveness. As an artist, I was curious and introspective, developing empathy and mindfulness.
Today as an Artist and Designer, my focus is on holistic wellbeing. After the pandemic and seeing the physical and mental health challenges people faced, I felt a calling to do something about it. We as humans are a mix of dualities, introverted/extroverted, tranquil/ vibrant, isolated/ connected, and through design we can embolden inner strength, encourage resilience, and build new connections. Whether it's soft goods or electronics, historical objects or branding, furniture or UI/UX, I am passionate about designing opportunities that embrace humanity and reimagine a more balanced way forward.
