Zhuo (Sum) Cao

As a designer and an artist, I am curious and skeptical about many so-called popular trends. Trends are dull, but by combining my interest with the suitable styles of the times, I create work that inspires wonder and enjoyment. This understanding of design largely affects my Grad thesis project, which is a social platform targeting designers and helping them build a unique art style. My educational background and cultural experiences make me sensitive to all kinds of visual language and also open minded about everything. That leads my approach to design influenced by exploration and emotion, which makes my work both playful and original.
